Oil pressed from flax is incredibly rich in both omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids, if it is freshly pressed and unrefined. These two EFAs are important for supporting the immune system, good digestion, healthy brain function, soft and smooth skin and good circulation.
Because of the this flax oil's superior nutritional make-up, we recommend it always be used unheated. Flora's fresh-pressed flax oil is perishable and should be kept refrigerated at all times. The pressing and expiry dates are stamped on each bottle to ensure freshness. The shelf life is six months refrigerated, or one year frozen.
Flora Flax Oil contains: 57% polyunsaturated ALA, or Alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3), 21% monounsaturated Oleic acid (omega-9), 14% polyunsaturated Linoleic acid (omega-6).

Suggested Use :
Shake well before using. Take 1 Tbsp. up to 3 times daily. For optimum freshness keep refrigerated and use within 2 months after opening. Flaxoil can be frozen to maintain freshness. It is delicious in salad dressings, sauces, powershakes, and in place of butter on breadand vegetables. Security sealed for your protection. Do not use if seal is missing or damaged.
