An early form of wheat with notable measures of iron, amino acids and fiber, it is considerded to be of prehistoric origin.
Kamut® Khorasan Wheat
Believed to be of Egyptian origin kept alive by peasant farmers in Egypt and the Middle East, Kamut® has more protein than durum wheat, with higher levels of lipids, amino acids and vitamins.
Amaranth
A traditional food in Africa, India and Central America, Amaranth has enjoyed a place both in ritual foods and popular culture. It's an exceptionally complete protein, providing a source of dietary fiber and dietary minerals as well.
Quinoa
Native people of the Peruvian and Bolivian highlands first cultivated Quinoa more than 5,000 years ago. Known as a complete protein, Quinoa (pronounced 'KEEN-wah') has an amino acid profile superior to other grains.
