Valerian root has been the primary herb of choice for supporting restful sleep
since the 9th century. Modern research has confirmed this traditional use, and
has identified valerenic acid, a component of the essential oil, as primarily
responsible for its relaxing effects. These compounds are highly soluble in
alcohol extracts. Planetary Formulas Valerian Root Fresh Plant Fluid Extract
is carefully prepared from freshly harvested, organically cultivated roots,
to prevent the degradation of valerian's sensitive constituents.

Suggested Use: 60 drops of Valerian Root Fluid Extract (approx. 1.5
